2010 SICA All South Football Team

Du Quoin, Ill. —from the Du Quoin Evening Call

Du Quoin seniors Jerel Holmes, Cory Campanella, Seth Baxter, Bryce Hamburger and Brandon Williams were all named to the 2010 Southern Illinois Coaches Associatioin's All-South Football Team, giving the Indians more players on the team than any other squad except Marion, which also had five players receive the honor (Shekeil Ivy, Austin Dickson, Matt Griffith, Aaron Adeoye and Marcus Green).

Rounding out the selections were Johnston City's Taylor Kirkman, J.R. Roberts and Austin Haynes, Carmi-White County's Logan Rogers, Fairfield's Cameron Williams, S-V-W-W's Dawson Verhines, Hamilton County's Adam Irvin and Clint Hopfinger, Chester's Danny Roth, Justin Eggemeyer and John Baughman, Mt. Vernon's Eric Heinzman and Blake Deaton, Carbondale's Kaid Koester and Jordan Bowlby, Anna-Jonesboro's Taylor Fitzgerald and Josiah Miller, Carterville's Skyler Neumann and Jeff Aldridge, Centralia's Alex Fritch, Murphysboro's Orlando Jarrett and Dylan Craig, Benton's Landon Stewart, Tyloer Leffler and Hunter Rone, Herrin's DeMarlo Harris, Zeb Williams and Brandon Bevis, and Harrisburg's Johnnie Donaldson and Isaac Behme.

Black Diamond

The 2010 Black Diamond conference has 10 member schools: Carmi-White County (Carmi) Bulldogs, Chester Yellow Jackets, Christopher Ziegler-Royalton or CZR (Christopher) Bearcats, Eldorado Eagles, Elverado-Trico (Elkville) Falcons, Fairfield Mules, Hamilton County (McLeansboro) Foxes, Johnston City Indians, Sesser-Valier-Waltonville-Woodlawn or SVWW (Sesser) Red Devils, Vienna-Goreville (Vienna) Eagles. Several of the teams in this conference co-op with other schools in football programs, but not other sports. This is the first year the BDC has not had Carterville has a member school, as they moved to the SIRR-Mississippi and Chester took their place. This is a ten team closed conference where 5 wins generally assures you enough playoff points to qualify for the playoffs.

Hamilton County Foxes of McLeansboro - Black Diamond - Illinois Prep Football

The Hamilton County Foxes play Illinois high school football (IHSA) as a 2010 member of the Black Diamond conference. Hamilton County High School is located in McLeansboro, Illinois. McLeansboro is in Hamilton county. The Foxes' Illinois Pigskin region is the 618 Football Region. They are coached by Jeff Rush entering his 7th year of coaching at Hamilton County. The school Athletic Director is Clint Winemiller.

The schools 2010 enrollment numbers are 416. The Foxes' colors are Kelly Green/White. Hamilton County has qualified for the IHSA playoffs 6 times, the last playoff appearance was 2006.
