"(Waubonsie Valley) should be very explosive on offense and very fast on defense," head coach Paul Murphy said about the 2010 edition of Warriors football. Returning starters on offense include All-Conference honorable mention pick Mark Szott (6'4" 230 Sr.), along with Brian Nicolls (6'2" 220 Sr.), and Eric Josupait (6'1" 160 Sr.).

"How well both the offensive and defensive lines do this year will determine how successful we can be. There are very good skill players on both sides of the line of scrimmage."
Waubonsie Valley will be competing for a league title in the Upstate Eight. "(Waubonsie Valley) will compete for a conference championship. South Elgin, Bartlett, Lake Park, and Neuqua Valley should also contend for the conference championship. No predictions, too early to tell," said Murphy.
